UNSW Energy Technologies Building
The $90 million Energy Technologies Building will be a flagship research facility for the University of New South Wales. It was support the university’s internationally recognised research and teaching in key energy areas including photovoltaic, carbon capture and storage, oil and gas reservoir characterisation, nanomaterials and policy and market analysis.
RPS prepared the Environmental Assessment under Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act for the proposed building, as well as a development application to Randwick City Council for early works associated with the proposal.
RPS was required to prepare the application in an incredibly short timeframe and worked closely with the Department of Planning to ensure that the application was successfully lodged by the required deadline.
