South Hedland Primary Schools Landscape Competition Unveiling
On Friday 4 November, RPS participated in the unveiling of BHP Billiton Iron Ore’s South Hedland Primary Schools Landscape Competition.
The events held at Baler Primary School, Cassia Primary School and South Hedland Primary School were an opportunity for the school children and their parents to get their hands dirty and get involved in the program.
Across the three schools more than 250 students and 100 parents helped finalise the landscaping works including planting shrubs, spreading mulch and painting bench seats.
As the key driver of the delivery of this project, RPS has been a strong supporter of this community competition over the past 6 months.
To fund these beautification projects at the local schools, contractors and community members have significantly contributed through in-kind support and donations.
RPS was well represented at each of the school events and would like to thank Sam Spiro, Luke Jones, Ben Walsh, Craig Lovering, Richard Treanor and Liam Wilson for their ongoing dedication to this important community project.
