Newcastle is New South Wales’ second largest city and the seventh largest city in Australia. It’s located 160 kilometres north of Sydney, in the heart of the Hunter Region and bordered by stunning coastline.

The Port of Newcastle is the economic and trade centre for the resource rich Hunter Valley and for much of the north and northwest of New South Wales, and remains one of the world's largest coal exporting ports.
