Gold Coast

The Gold Coast has been one of Australia's fastest growing regions for a number of decades and is now the nation's sixth largest city.

The arrival of several new low cost airlines flying into the Gold Coast airport continues to flood the region with domestic and international visitors.

The adjacent Tweed Shire, in northern New South Wales, is also driving major demand for planning and development services as a result of Australia's 'sea-change' dynamic.

A number of major infrastructure projects are planned or underway on the Gold Coast, including Pacific Highway upgrades, creation of the Gold Coast University Hospital, and development of a world class light rail system.
